Regarding Class Issues.

Dear 07S71,

Firstly, I'd like to explain the rationale for my resignation.

I do feel that many of you underestimate Si Kai's ability to do things for the class. Honestly speaking, he may not be able to command the attention (because he's not as large or as loud as I am), but he is definitely more conscientious in completing his tasks than I am. You all know that, just looking at my homework. =.= though Wei Xin told me I do (or rather, have done) too much for the class (and I know he's damn right about it) I know I've done a completely sucky job as CT rep.

So please give Si Kai and Nicole your fullest support, because being a CT Rep, especially OUR CT Rep, is a tough job.

Secondly, I'd like to address you regarding...

teachers. you love them or you hate them. in order not to hurt anyone's feelings, even though we all know which teachers we're talking about, I denounce any naming of teachers on this public domain.

of course, it isn't about naming of teachers we hate/love. it's about you.

SO LISTEN UP, AND LISTEN GOOD.

Even if you don't like the teacher, bear with it. The fact that they have been placed over us means that they have authority over us. We can influence them, and try to help them change to better suit our learning needs. OR we could realize that we're in school to be changed, not just to change others, and decide not to force our will on others, and letting your actions scream out the words I HATE YOU.

Hello, wake-up call? No matter how much you whine, moan, groan or complain to the administration, nobody's going anywhere. Maybe, just maybe, if you gave others a chance (or many), you'll be able to look past their inadequacies, remember their humanity, and save all of us from failing the bloody 'A' levels just because YOU (yes, you.) couldn't get along with some people and as a result the lessons will be completely unproductive.

And to all those who experience just a mild dislike for your teachers' teaching methods, yet still have a tinge of respect for those who boldly chose to be in the teaching profession, don't be misled by a few angry souls. Stand up for what you believe in and rebuke your friends for being insensitive and short-sighted.

I know this might potentially cause me to be flamed, but I will accept any comments (or insults) that you throw my way. Because maybe after many years, you'll search the depths of the abyss you have for a heart, you'll eat those angry words you vomit out.

Your happily-resigned ex-CT rep,
Hewlett.
