class chalet!

Wow! A new post! (not that anyone actually reads this blog anyway, but I'm hoping to change that. =.=)

And yet again, I'm the only one posting and trying to keep this blog alive.

Anyway, class chalet's on 25-27th November. It costs $180, and is only available to us because Jo's CCA group didn't want the slot anymore and decided to sell it to us. Yay, thanks Jo!

Not long after I took out my camera to start fooling around, Jessica already wanted to try it out.

Hey everyone!

First post in three months... Once more, i'm the one posting. Anyways, with promos around the corner i don't expect any of you to post a single thing, especially since even without promos no one posts anything. xD

Okay just some updates for those who actually visit this dead site occasionally:

There'll be a post-promos cum post-prelims chalet for both our junior and senior class... and as far as i remember si kai has coerced some people to organise it, but i don't seem to remember who. =.= anybody with any ideas or whatnot please just tell anyone and everyone from our class. the dates of the chalet are not yet fixed, but they will be soon, i guess.

OP is on November 1st, please don't go overseas until after November 7th. This message has already been posted by Ms Poh on the EMB.

Ooh and erm is anybody looking for work in the holidays, or does anybody have any contacts? i wanna go and work in the hols... earn a little pocket money, and gain a bit of experience.

All the best for promos everyone... Don't want to see anyone of us in our junior class next year lol. And i'm sure we won't.

finally figured out how to get into this :))

haha, anyway, going to be semi-lame and do some advertising for the up-coming dance concert. Here are reasons on why you 07S71ers should go :

1. There are 3 MAD-ers and one Chinese Dance-er in 07S71
   
2. There are two more MAD-ers in our senior class, and the seniors = total ownage. o.o Both Cheryl and Alicia are VERY VERY GOOD.
   
3. People like Ting Kun would enjoy the show a)because MAD is full of pretty girls (=P) and b) Showstopper costumers are fairly revealing. (><)
   
4. Every person in Chinese Dance and MAD for our class is in at least two items so if your only reason coming is to support us, you'll see us more than once and not just for a brief second either
   
5. MAD got Gold with Honours for Modern Dance :D so it's a given that it'll be a damn good show
   
6. Tickets will be very much in demand even though Dance clashes with Drama :))
   
7. It's only on for two nights compared to last years two nights plus a matinee
   
8. Ticket are cheap: $10 only. Did you know AC dance charges 25 moolah for theirs?
   
9. It'll be worth your 10 bucks. It's a promise :))

Mdm Ching says that we have to hand in our Chemistry tutorials all the way up till "The Gaseous State" by 19/03/2007, 8am. Which happens to be the first day of school. So please finish up everything over the hols, okay?

Failure to hand in the tutorials punctually will result in the offence being recorded in the ISP, including the addition of demerit points to your record.

So please be serious!!! Really must do or it just might affect your future, kay?

CNY lantern and banner (and lessons learnt)

Hey seven-one!

Guess what? We got into trouble for not doing the lantern and banner for CNY. Now we have to write a letter to Mr. Pang explaining why we didn't participate in the mandatory competition. xD

I admit that I was at fault for not reminding you all more often. Also, because I had a severe lack of ideas. However, I would have appreciated a little more commitment on everyone else's part. I know it's difficult to be enthusiastic about something you might not really be bothered with, but I must say that if we try hard enough we definitely can do it.

In future, when we are to participate in any competition, please do help to contribute. I know its somewhere in you to be very supportive of events. It's really heartwarming to see how many people are attending talentime and supporting our classmate, and the turnout for the outdoor(that turned into an indoor) movie screening was surprisingly good.

Hmm. I hope that through these 2 years, we'll build REAL friendships that'll last. I hope that "friends forever" isn't an impossible thing for us to achieve.

Aww... we lost.

dramafeste =)

Dramafeste was interesting. Too bad that all four plays were all about death.

Scary, eh? I mean, come on, people, it's a school! We should make it all lighthearted and stuff. Personally, I think the other faculties were doing a very good job... Though I couldn't really make sense of the Athena play, because it wasn't staged properly enough, due to time constraints, I guess. It's difficult to effectively stage that idea. (okay i'm moving into Literature, I guess I'll move back to the original topic.)

That aside...

Yay apollo won best play! =) and best actress too! =) 30 points in the bag. grand total of 75.

It's just too bad that we didn't take any pictures... The emceeing was done very well, and the audience was always entertained. Kudos to the 4 emcees.

The filler item was hilarious!

I went to some other CT bench this afternoon and I saw that there were a lot of fun games they played during breaks. People please come up will ideas for games and where we want to have JTS. Dare or Dare

Hello all!

Just to clarify any misconceptions that we are attention seeking bimbos, what we did today was a dare in return to jiajun's dare for wearing an elephant on his face for the whole day.

Favourite svelte-figured jiajun in SC belt, elephant specs, high bag and high pants :D

Poor jiajun was victimised by the girls of S71, and thus we have to atone for our sins by coming to school in 2 pony tails and high socks!
Unfortunately, Jiajun didnt really adhere to his guidelines and slacked off when the girls were not keeping an eye. Thus, the girls only have to fulfil the requirement of half a day.

To be honest, it was also rather fun & self-entertaining, adding more fun to an otherwise mundane and boring school day.
